Thomas W. Lewis
Member • Executive Employment Law • Team Member Since 2006
Well over 20 years of experience dealing with complex legal issue of all sorts makes Tom Lewis an ideal member of the Crone & Mason team. A seemingly born litigator, he has navigated the courtroom as “first chair” for all phases of cases.
He and his family moved to Memphis in the mid-90s not just for a job but to find a better place to raise his family. That firm grasp of priorities and persistent willingness to do the right thing, particularly when it isn’t the easy thing, speaks volumes about Tom. He employs those same values for his clients in areas ranging from employment discrimination and worker’s compensation to unfair competition and trade secret protection.
When Tom isn’t doggedly protecting the interests of his clients, he enjoys spending as much time as possible with his family.
Tom Chose to Become a Lawyer Because:
“Frankly, I was never any good in math or science. But truly I have an acute appreciation of history and that interest seemed to a good fit with the requirements of this profession.”
What Tom Likes Most About His Job:
I like people. I like getting involved with people and solving problems.
Tom’s Role Model Is:
Winston Churchill. He was brilliant, determined, and very quotable.
