T. Edgar Davison III
Associate Attorney • Employment Law • Team Members Since 2007
Edgar Davison’s affinity for competitive chess is an interesting parallel to his extraordinary passion for the law. In chess, a successful competitor will begin his campaign with a well-planned strategy, have the ability to implement decisive tactical maneuvers, and anticipate the moves and positions of his opponent.
Similarly, in the negotiation and litigation of legal matters, a savvy attorney must be both strategically astute in determining the most beneficial route toward successful resolution and tactically proficient in guiding the client toward that result.
Whether conducting a deposition, drafting a complaint or arguing before the court, Edgar employs all his skill sets. And he thoroughly enjoys diving into the details of complex issues that are of critical importance to our clients.
Edgar Chose To Become a Lawyer Because:
“While I was in grade school, the Tennessee Supreme Court came to my hometown to allow children to view a court proceeding. I can remember being in awe of how articulate and well prepared the attorneys were while giving oral arguments. I remember thinking, ‘I want to be like those guys.’”
You Might Be Surprised To Learn That Edgar:
Played defensive tackle for his high school football team.
What Aspect of the Law Edgar Is Most Passionate About:
“ I enjoy taking a case and litigating it from start to finish, starting with drafting the complaint and finishing with a jury verdict.”
